We had a good night at the BMOC. 7 medals one being an individual champion. Trish was a great competitor in the Triple Jump. Walker from Hackensack had a 36-8 trial jump to Trish's 35-10. But on her first jump in the finals Trish posted a 36-10 and the other jumpers couldn't answer the challenge! The pole vault was the most exciting field event of the night. Three girls made 9-6 and that meant that Evann, Kerri and the girl from Ridgefield Park were all vaulting at a county record 10 feet! Kerri was the only one to get over the bar but knocked it off on the way down, however she was 3rd on misses. That left Evann tied with Jessica Hatton from Ridgefield Park. Three tie breaking jump-off heights later the Ridgefield Park girl prevailed and won field athlete of the meet for her efforts.
